What is life all about?

Life is your God given opportunity to do God’s will. To do God’s will begins with salvation.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

No work will save you. Salvation is the gift of God. You don’t pay for a gift you receive it. When you accept the fact that you are a sinner who has rejected Jesus Christ you are a candidate for salvation.

Your personal sins are not the issue. The problem is what you are. You are a Christ rejecting person who has no hope.

Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

The Holy Spirit will reprove you with the word of God.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;

You need to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and accept Him to be your Saviour. He has shed His blood for you, suffered in your stead, died for you, was buried, and rose again from the dead.

On the cross of Calvary He cried, Matthew 27:45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

He said, “My God, my God” because He was suffering for your sins and mine.

He was made to be sin for us. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

He suffered our hell, Psalms 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Based on these facts you need to receive Him to be your Saviour, Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

Salvation is so simple if you are not careful you will miss it.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Once you have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ you are saved, sealed and secure. You can never lose your salvation.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Secure: Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now that Jesus Christ is your personal Saviour you can live your life to please Him.

Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
